Rodriguez & Alba Are Insiders Yet another Rodriguez project in works Source: ICV2
Robert Rodriguez is going to run out of fingers for all these pies. So we've got Machete, Predators, The Jetsons, Red Sonja, Nervewrackers, and now reports are coming in of an Insiders project, to star Jessica Alba.
The Insiders is a French comic book action spy series that currently runs to seven volumes and sells in the tens of thousands (France has a vast homegrown comic book industry that barely registers in Britain and the US). An eighth book is on the way in October.
Alba has reportedly acquired the rights in tandem with Rodriguez, although there are no details yet of proposed start-dates, further casting, or whether Rodriguez will direct or just produce.
If it's good, it could be Nikita. If it's crap, it could be The Assassin. The ball, Mr Rodriguez, is in your court.

Now come on Robby can you just forget the rest of this nonsense and make a Sin City 2 already! Me and my mates have never read a comic book in our lives but if a movie looks good we'll try to go watch it. Sin City looked good and so we watched it and loved it.
I also agree, Jessica Alba doesn't have enough ability to carry a movie. Has any of her films outside of Fantastic Four ahd any impact? No they haven't. Unless she's backed up by decent stars like in Fantastic Four there's no way anyone... Read More

So Rodriguez has another movie in development , can the guy not commit to one thing at one time, or is he just saying yes to every idea that comes his way, i think the guy needs a break for the self inflicted penance he's obviously doing for Planet Terror's performance so maybe he is just hedging every bet he can, who knows? ...
