For some reason, we're chiefly reminded here of a scene from Father Ted, wherein all the priests fall asleep after goading each other into watching Latin Mass on TV, and then Father Jack turns the channel just in time to see "Jurassic Park - now with extra dinosaurs". In any case, since the principle delight of Transformersis the sight of gigantic robots whaling on each other, we look forward to seeing this on the big, BIG screen with considerable pleasure. Let's hope it's more than just a few frames longer.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is out in the UK on June 19, whole days before the rest of the world. Result!

Have to agree with Mr badblokebob. It's good news if you live near an IMAX, but not so otherwise. But it can't be denied if there is one film this year that will suit the biggest screen it's probably this one. Just look at the trailer again. Especially the scene with the giant mono-wheeled fella. ... Read More
Has anyone heard the directors commentary on the first Transformers film? Please please go listen to it. The man is a nutcase, apart from going on about how much, "juice" he has he also slags off a number of other films and goes on about how people would laugh at him but that "they not laughing now!!!" I hate Michael Bay the first film was a poorly written, quick cut joke with good FX and the second film will be no different . . . . It will have Megan fox in however so I gues... Read More
But... it's relative. What's to get excited about? I mean, it's not like they're giving everyone a gift, or anything. It's just that they're making one shorter and one longer. So what? ... Read More
This news does not excite me. Admittedly I am not a big fan of Michael Bay or the first Transformers movie but that's not the point I want to convey. It seems that since TDK had it's relative and deserved success at the IMAX screens, every big movie and it's dog now seems to be simultaneously released in the IMAX format. My problem in that 99% of these movies are not shot in IMAX so there's really no point in going to see them at the IMAX cinema.
TDK had 20 minutes of IMAX footage which lo... Read More

YAY! Michael's added more scenes of robots hitting each other! WHAT FUN! I really can't wait to see that on the IMAX screen for more money than I pay for going to the ordinary screen to see the latest Michael Bay crapfest.
I hope the air of sarcasm came across well in that message
I missed it.
So are you looking forward to rmers 2? ... Read More
Somethings i can understand, silent to sound, black & white to colour, the improvement in sound and picture quality. But while i can understand the joy of imax (One in manchester by the way) i dont get 3D at all. I love the cinema expierience but once ive seen a good film i cant wait to own it. At first i thought there was something wrong with my tv when The dark knight picture changed ratios. As for 3D, will this really work in the home, let alone all those spectacle weareres who cant wear ... Read More
