See Arnie In Terminator Salvation
And will he act again for Predators?

See Arnie In Terminator Salvation

With Terminator Salvation now in cinemas here in the UK, we don't feel it's too spoilerific to link to the latest Salvation TV spot, which shows just a glimpse of the Arnie-rific moment in the last act where we come face-to-face with our old friend, the T-800, as played by body-builder Roland Kickinger and a 1980s digitally-rendered Arnold Schwarzenegger.

And news has also emerged that the Governator is being pursued to appear in Predators, Robert Rodriguez' sequel in the dreadlocked alien hunter franchise. Moviehole reports that Schwarzenegger has been asked to return as Major Alan 'Dutch' Schaefer, in a part that would require just a couple of days shooting.

The Schwarzenegger camp is apparently yet to respond to the request, so file this firmly under "remote possibility" for now. Predators is due out in July 2010, which means that Schwarzenegger will still be Governor for the whole of its production period (barring political disasters), and with an economy in meltdown to oversee, is unlikely to want to be seen taking time out for acting roles.

So if you want to see the modern Arnie on a screen near you soon, the best option is to check out our Birthday Portfolio, online now here.

RE: HA
I have hardly ready any spoilers for this film and i knew that his image (at least) was going to be in it so why the surprise??  The CGI looked mega shit though which is a shame as the rest of the effects look top.  ... Read More

I think he should return to acting, cause he'll need to be in terminator 5 and 6 to fit with the story line, after all, it is that the conners find some T-800's that look like Arnie, and send them back in time. ... Read More

The Problem?
Seriously, will people STOP MOANING about an advert which will pop up on telly anyway. In this day and age if Empire were not telling you where all the trailers were they wouldn't be doing their job. I had Emipre Strikes Back, Fight Club and Sixth Sense 'spoiled' for me. And the effect? None. Good films are good films whatever. ... Read More

RE: Yeah, out of order Empire.
Glad I saw this on release night or I'd have been pissed. Thats a real kick for anyone who didn't want spoilers as you can't really avoid that. I don't know if I am on my own here but I know I go to great lengths to avoid anything about a movie I am looking forward to. This goes from not reading anything with a spoiler warning or any review before I watch it right down to my mates taking the absolute piss and my girlfriend getting really embarassed because in the cinema I put on my ipo... Read More

RE: Yeah, out of order Empire.
I really liked the film, okay the script was cliche and the opening scene was horrible but it had decent performances and Christian Bale was I think the best John Connor since the flashback scenes of T2, shame though JC didn't really have much to in TS as it really is Sam Worthington's film. The action sequences are the best of the year though, the arnie scene wasn't perfect but still not awful, effects have come a long way since 2001, The Rock/Scorpion King at the end of The Mummy Returns anyo... Read More

It's not about clicking on the link
now is it? It's about the words "See Arnie in Terminator" that people are pissed off about. That's the spoiler right there. Some people come to this sites for updates and, surprise surprise, reviews. Not to have quite obvious secret cameos plastered in a headline. Poor show Empire. Actually quite appalled. ... Read More
