New Spirit Poster Online Will this be the next Dick Tracy? Source: MyCityScreams
The Spirit is a comic book adaptation that is keeping everyone guessing. But this new poster may shed some light on it.
Frank Miller's Sin City was a stylish graphic hit, and the adaptation of The Spirit was widely anticipated to be a similarly moody film.
However, it has been rumored that the movie may be more akin to noir parody Dick Tracy, (with a big dash of Zorro added to the mix by the looks of the poster).
The names of the film's many femme-fatales only adds to this suspicion.

Plus, Paz Vega plays the most ludicrously monikered of all: Plaster of Paris.
The movie stars Gabriel Macht as Denny Colt (aka The Spirit), and Samuel L. Jackson as his nemesis The Octopus.
Due out January 2 2009, we'll leave you to make up your minds on what to expect.

The first trailer definately painted it as graphic novel noir. Ah well, I was never interested in this movie to begin with soooo...don't know why I'm commenting really... ... Read More
