Guy Ritchie is back in his old stomping ground with RocknRolla. The Lock, Stock... and Snatch director has returned to the world of dodgy dealers, shady scams and back-stabbing that made his name, with a story of a tale of Russian mobsters running amok in the Big Smoke.
Featuring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Jeremy Piven and The Wire's Idris Elba amongst the cast, the film is out on 5th September but we have the world exclusive look at the first trailer for you right here, right now. Click below.

Just seen the trailer before Wanted at cinema... could go either way tbh. While the mockey geezer thing is long overtired, it doesn't mean it's impossible for a good film to come from the genre... shit, I just realised who's someone's face was in the trailer, it's the sun lunatic in Sunshine (was playing on my mind for ages and hate cheating on imdb).

his doesn't look like a comedy to me. Which bits do you think were meant to get the big 'Thunder' laughs? :-S p;
My point was that the cinema atmosphere plummeted and a couple of joky bits in the trailer were met with contempt-filled silence. A cockerney-gangster movie, gosh we want to see more of those.

I think Richie has had it, there was a time and place for Lock and Snatch, times have moved on, people like flicks that fit with the times, the afore mentioned brace did this...this looks like he is just trying to recapture that instance, looks poor.
