The Happening: New Clip, Image & Trailer For exclusive news, read on...
Okay, so we've got action, adventure, comedy and costumed characters up the wazzoo this year, but where are the movies to appease hardcore horror fans? Well, fright-master M. Night Shyamalan has the problem in hand with his latest shocker, the apocalyptic-tinged The Happening.
A real end-of-the-world terror tale, it's shaping up to be a genuine event - if only to discover what the bloody hell is going on and why people across the world are simultaneously dropping dead.
A superbly creepy new video hit the Net today (see below), in which the writer/director introduces a clip from his latest flick and you can get a flavour of how the whole human extinction drama will unfold. What's more, we have an new exclusive image of Mark Wahlberg looking confused (enlarge thumbnail below) and if that's not enough, come back to Empire on Monday morning to check out another exclusive in the form of an 'inspiration' featurette which goes some way to unravelling M. Night's latest mystery.

The thing is, I think these bits are going to be in the first 20 minutes primarily and then just occasionally hit you through the rest of the film. I think The Happening vs The Incredible Hulk will be a very interesting weekend at the cinema both in box-office and c... Read More
The Village gets a bad rap, I liked it alot, it's a character piece and the plot almost seems incidental.Signs is all atmosphere and wonderfully well done, The Sixth Sense is plot twist with a movie wrapped around it, but Unbreakable is the one I think stands head and shoulders above the others,it's a true original and unspoiled by a tacky needless sequel. As for The Happening, I'll wait until I see it before I pass judgement, but those reviews aren't encouraging....... ...
