Brett Ratner To Direct Eddie Murphy
In The Incredible Shrinking Man
Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Brett Ratner To Direct Eddie Murphy
Brett Ratner is to team up with Eddie Murphy for a remake of The Incredible Shrinking Man.

Universal has long been trying to get the movie off the ground, but it now seems that it will finally happen. This comedy update of the 1957 original sees Murphy as a Las Vegas magician who is cursed with a spell that causes him to shrink. If he can't find a way to stop his unembiggening, he'll disappear...forever.

Knowing general user opinion for the collective oeuvres of Murphy and Rather, we may regret asking: What do you think of this team up?

Why Does Matheson Deserve This?
Why is it hollywood seem to hate richard matheson so much they take his material (some of the greatest sci-fi novels ever!) and make movies that are so inferior they barely resemble the source material? The original movie scripted by matheson has more than stood the test of time and how can an eddie murphy afraid to swear in movies make it funny? ... Read More

Flashback to the 70s
Am I the only one old enough to remember The Incredible Shrinking Woman? Lili Tomlin, Charles Grodin (I think...), a comedy version of the 50s classic? It wasn't that good, but it'll probably look like Shakespeare next to Ratner's efforts. ... Read More
