All Good Things For Dean Morgan
Jeffrey joins Dunst, Gosling in thriller

All Good Things For Dean Morgan
Jeffrey Dean Morgan – soon to be better-known as The Comedian in Zack Snyder’s forthcoming Watchmen – has joined the cast of the 80s-set murder mystery, All Good Things.

The Andrew Jarecki-directed movie centres on the relationship between Ryan Gosling, the scion of a real estate dynasty, and Kirsten Dunst, a beautiful girl from the wrong side of the tracks. When Dunst goes missing, Dean Morgan’s down-and-out detective is called in to investigate.

Frank Langella rounds out the cast in the film, which is produced by Michael London. But we’re intrigued not only by the presence of Jarecki – who directed the emotionally hard-hitting documentary, Capturing The Friedmans, and for whom this is his first fiction feature – but also Dean Morgan, a fine actor who’s beginning to make waves just after entering his 40s. Certainly, the mere mention of his name is enough to make the women in Empire Towers go weak at the knees, while we can certainly picture the rough-hewn actor – muscular and compact, like corned beef – as a noir-ish detective.

Filming starts this month in Connecticut, which is suddenly becoming a hotbed of movie activity, what with this and Sam Mendes’ upcoming comedy both shooting there.
