We didn't post this earlier because we weren't 100% sure it was real, but it's now clear that the X-Files 2 poster doing the rounds is legit. There are some shadowy looking copies around, but we have a good clear hi-res one, which you can see by clicking the image below. It's a really nice image for the film, encompassing the stars (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson), the X and a suggestion of two-ness. Pretty classy. There should be a new trailer for the film online soon. A dodgy assemblage of footage is lurking around the interwebs, but it's not certain whether that's the new trailer or a Fox internal sizzle reel not intended for public viewing. We'll keep you updated.

Although my friend informed me that it wasn't a "monster of the week" story between season 6 and 7 (which is what i originally thought) and is actually a plot concerning the conspiracy which i'm kinda gutted about that but, aw well.
