Tina Fey Joins Ricky Gervais Movie
Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod! This is very exciting. Tina Fey, writer and star of current best sitcom on TV 30 Rock* is going to appear in Ricky Gervais' feature directing debut This Side Of The Truth, Gervais points out on his very entertaining blog here. As if that wasn't reason enough to despoil your undercrackers, he's also announced that Jeffrey Tambor, Christopher Guest and John Hodgman have signed on. We don't even know who the last one is, but we're at a point of such high excitement that any name would get us a bit squealy at the moment.

The cast of the film about a world where lying hasn't been invented already includes Jennifer Garner (extremely underrated as a comedic actress), Rob Lowe and Jonah Hill. Best comedy ever? Yes, best comedy ever.

John Hodgman
Just in case anybody out there is wondering, John Hodgman is the 'technology correspondant' for The Daily Show. He was also the 'PC' in the American version of those Apple adverts (you know, the 'I'm a Mac' 'And I'm a PC' ones). ... Read More

olly!
its not bad, granted...but gavin and and stacey is better. and this film would sound great, apart from one little, greasy egotistical problem...Gervais. is no one else tired of this posturing, one-note, clapped-out wanker? god, the office was great, dont get me wrong, but apart from that...? i dont get it. his stand up is laboured and obvious, as well as being crininally unfunny. his previous work was the 11 o'clock show...enough said there. his post-office career is appaling. extras i... Read More

'Broads, Commies, Fairies...
we've gotta update these forms.' I wholeheartedly agree. Alec Baldwin is officially the funniest man alive. Who would've thought it? On an unrelated note, John Hodgman a US comedian who you might've seen on the Daily Show with John Stewart, on which he specialises in spectacularly dry absurdity. Kind of like Garth Marenghi. Not the guy that plays him, actually Garth Marenghi. ... Read More
