Another New Indiana Jones Pic And what's that behind him? Source: The Official Pix Blog
A website called The Official Pix Blog has another new image from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, this one with Indy pointing a torch at something and looking every inch the boys' own hero. It's only in low-resolution, but you can click here to see it.
*Possible spoilers below*
If you look very closely, or drag the large image on to your desktop, you can see something behind Indy. Looks distinctly non-human to us – see how far back of the cranium stretches and the size of the eye sockets? Could it be extra-terrestrial? If it's human, it's funny lookin'.
As you'll notice on The Official Pix Blog for just $459.99 you can own this Indy image, signed by Harrison Ford himself! Hurry hurry hurry, these prices can't last! Are we crazy? Yes, crazy for bargains!
Out there is right. Not disputing you on that. However, as far as I am concerned they (the Indy films) were always rather supernatural, or mystical, blended with the action and quips. Sci-fi, to me is a completely seperate genre, that would deal with extra-terrestrial themes. Aliens, spaceships, other worlds and the like. Whilst i am intrigued, I wonder if it is the right step, thats all...i am only to happy to be proved wrong, come May of course ; ) ... Read More
Looks good, just like everything else I've seen from the film so far. As for the origin of the skull in the background, I'd rather not speculate too much upon it, or it's connection to the plot. I'll wait for the film. ... Read More

Hopefully Spielberg has reigned in some of the Lucas naffness that has been his stock in trade as of late. I get the feeling that Lucas can be very stubborn. This sci-fi twist (if this is to be central to the plot) seems a little puzzling in hise with no previous connections to sci fiy way...at all! I just hope they haven't veered to far from the Indy formula. I have faith in one of the bearded ones.

Olly, the Mayans used to deliberately mis-shape some of their childrens skull into the elongated type you're talking about. The film features Mayans, doesn't it?
ou can change the shape of children's heads? OK, I am totally trying that on my nephew. Do I need special tools or can I just use a cricket bat? Or a vice?

Yup, all you need to do is band it very tightly from an extremely early age when the childs bones are soft and mallable.
