| Tom Wilkinson and Billy Bob Thornton have joined the cast of Duplicity, the industrial espionage drama that Julia Roberts and Clive Owen have already signed on to star in. Tony Gilroy, of Michael Clayton fame, is writing and directing. Wilkinson and Thornton will play respective CEOs of pharmaceutical companies out to corner the same market innovation, with Roberts and Owen as their corporate spies trying to undermine the opposition. The move comes just days after Wilkinson landed an Oscar nomination for his turn in Michael Clayton, which we imagine would give him the warm and fuzzies for Gilroy even if he hadn't already enjoyed working with the screenwriter-turned-director. Filming starts in March, so look out for this one in, what, Oscar season next year? |
