Sex And The City Poster Online
The official poster for the Sex and the City movie has gone online and, my word, it's spangly. It shows Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) strutting along in something pink and impractical underneath a giant logo which has been bedazzled to within an inch of qualifying as a new sun. Click the poster below for a version that will scorch your retinas.

We don't want to mock too much, because we know this is like the arrival of The Phantom Menace for girls (although hopefully less anti-climactic), but that tagline is just unforgivable.

Olly Richards

Love the poster, don't really find the tagline too bad (maybe there's a hint of irony?). And Olly Richards - can you be any more mocking and sexist? ... Read More

Teaser Poster??
Looks like a teaser poster to me!! Will be intrigued to see the main poster which I imagine will service in April along with a full length trailer. Anyways, just to add to the debate, I'm male and I LOVE SATC. I own all the DVD boxsets and even have the Official SATC Companion book, although i've never read the book it's originally based on. Anyway, just wanted to say that out of all my friends (including the female ones!), I am the only person who watches/watched SATC. ... Read More

Stereotype much?
I find the comments on this poster hilarious. I'm a hugh sci-fi fan, usually capable of out nerding all my mail friends. Hell, I have all the BSG, ST and SG boxsets and can quote entire episodes of firefly but I love SATC. It's fun, witty and there are great clothes. Please stop the stereotyping comments.. ... Read More

I liked Buffy and Sex and the City which probably makes me a tomgirl. Or a girlboy. Or someone with varied taste in TV. My male housemates and I used to watch it every week and it was a real joy to see hardened cynics going all teary-eyed as Charlotte finally managed to adopt a baby. Bless their lame little hearts. That said, that's a horrid horrid pun that's almost as horrid as Carrie's "God help me I'm so DELICATE" scream when hit by rain/falling fish/something shocking. ... Read More
