Your Comments
I have already seen it and it's not going to work.
I have managed to see a screening of the Grindhouse movie with both features plus the extra faux-trailers. I thought the combo was absoloutely brilliant. It was just like watching all those dodgy home videos from yesteryear. I thought Tarantino's was the weaker of the two features as Planet Terror had more laughs and grit. This was more like a pointless girl-power movie and I thought that it is a sure sign that Tarantino needs to get a grip and do what he does best. This may work with th... Read More

Pure Tarantino
reading through everyones comments, its clear that everyone has very different and varied opinions of all Taratino's movies and nobodys favourites are the same. therefore there is no reason why everyone will love or hate Death Proof. You can't say its good or bad, but it is worth watching. I saw it last night and I loved it, thought it was pure tarantino, the dialogue, the music, the not knowing exactly which way the film is going to turn. Loved the bad editing and scratchy grainy film look. D... Read More

i take back what i said about death proof i saw it a while back so i am going to watch it again and judge it properly as a single film as i only saw the Grinhouse one and was unimpressed because Planet terror was so fun and it was a change in direction to watch girls chatting as apose to Zombies ... Read More

RE: recover
L: alimac  It's Qts first major turkey but hell recover from it Robert Rodriguez recoverd from spy kids p; The difference being that SpyKids is for children and that Death Proof is not. SpyKids is dull for adults but for Children its great, and thats what Rodriguez set out to do, amke a kids film. So no need to recover. I dont think QT can pull himself out of this now tbh. I like Kill Bill, but is there really any reason a studio wouldn't trust him with a four hour movie?... Read More

i disagree i have faith that if QT gets off his arse and Makes Inglorious Bastards it will be not as good as Dogs and Pulp but will be near that standard of film.He could give WW2 a refreshing aproach show us what soldiers really are like rather than the hero status people like spielberg give them don't get me wrong i loved Ryan but it would be good to see something different ... Read More

Reality
I think QT jumped the shark with Jackie Brown. The two Kill Bills were pointless and I'm guessing Death Proof will be the same (The vast majority are saying DP sucks). And I wouldn’t get too excited about Inglorious Bastards. Even if he does get around to making it, he's disappeared up his own arse and that's the way things are going to stay. ... Read More
