And When Did You Last See Your Father? Empire has the exclusive trailer...
When Blake Morrison’s memoirs began their transition from the page to the screen – via the pen of Starter For Ten-scribbler David Nicholls – there were only two men fit to fill the main characters’ shoes. Enter Jim Broadbent and Colin Firth. And When Did You Last See Your Father? recounts Morrison’s relationship with his dying father in the weeks prior to his passing. Broadbent plays the late Arthur Morrison, while Firth appears as Blake – a man desperately looking to the past for answers.
As you can see from this new trailer, Broadbent looks set to present yet another captivating performance – you just can’t go wrong with Ol ‘Jim – and the supporting cast, led by Juliet Stevenson and Gina Mckee, will no doubt bolster the two leads with suitably large dollops of heart and soul. Hilary And Jackie-helmer, Anand Tucker, has led the way behind the camera.
