Thundercats Coming To The Big Screen
They're both on the run and loose

Thundercats Coming To The Big Screen
Well, it had to happen. Last week we were told that He-Man and his Masters of the Universe are to get a second bite of the movie cherry, which drove many a reader to ask, "whither the Thundercats?". To which the answer is now: coming very soon!

Warner Bros has optioned a script by new writer Paul Sopocy based on the '80s cartoon. The script, according to Variety, is an origin story chronicling Lion-O's path becoming leader of the Thundercats as well as the creation of the villainous Mumm-Ra (The evAHHHHH LIVING).

All your favourite anthropomorphic felines – Tygra, Panthro, Cheetarah – will show up. So, who should be cast as the furniture scratching warriors? We're saying Ving Rhames should be a lock for Panthro. And Snarf could be played by that tabby that belongs to Mrs Scoggins and number 23.

RE: HHHHMMMMM
t was called the thunder tank and had two front claws and a big lion like mouth obviously for cutting down any trees that may get in it's way, two seats in the cockpit and more in the back. Comes equipped with a laser and can go above and undernearth the water.  I think they also had a some sort of thunder plane but i haven't seen that yet. ... Read More

RE: HHHHMMMMM
ot me, Jar Jar is way more annoying that snarf at least he has a useful role in the thundercats universe whereas Jar Jar just annoyed you to the point of wanting to rip his head off. I don't think it'll be lycra it will be more of a cloth like clothing for the men and most likely lycra for cheetara. And bandages and robes for mumm ra. ... Read More

RE: HHHHMMMMM
Pretty torn on this one. I loved thundercats when i was a little kid but I'm not sure whether i'd appreciate it as much now. I think for me it would depend what the costumes looked like, there was a lot of lycra looking outfits in the cartoons which is probably great for the bloke fans but I'm not sure if I'd want to see men running round in lycra! ... Read More

RE: RE:
L: igotnewlegs 2"] Further more, what was up with Snarf? The rest of the Thundercats were walking about, having fun but at the same time burderned with responsibilty, and were respected as equals, whereas Snarf would sit on his arse chewing his elbow. The problem I have with it is that he's essentially the same as the Thundercats but because he has apparent learning difficulties, and a tendency to say his own name one too many times, his so-called friends would patronise the living shit... Read More

RE: HHHHMMMMM
I hear Rachel McAdams wants to play Cheetara if they make it into a movie and a) due to my huge crush on her and b) looking at photos of the character...she dosen't have to worry about me preventing her dream.grin.gif]  I'd rather have her than the "only hot when she's not speaking" Alba. And I'm just talking about Alba's "my shit don't stink" attitude in interviews. ... Read More
