The Latest On The Alan Partridge Movie
Patrick Marber keeps us up to speed

The Latest On The Alan Partridge Movie
On a busier day this might not be news, but it's not, so this is. While Empire was talking to The Day Today and Knowing Me, Knowing You veteran Patrick Marber (oh, we believe he's also on a short list for an award from some bloke called Oscar later this month) we had to ask him where things were at concerning the Alan Partridge movie.

"There's no script. There is an idea," the screenwriter / playwright / comedian told us. "There’s an ongoing conversation, and Steve has had a very good idea of how to do an Alan Partridge film. Whether it will happen, or get written - or get written by me, I don’t know. But we’re talking about it."

So there you have it. No real change in the situation, but positive signs. Why do we feel like Peter O'Hanhara'hanharahan? Back to you, Chris...

RE: The Latest On The Alan Partridge Movie
Partridge movie? Get a life. I am possibly the biggest Partridge geek in the world. I love him and will be him one day, but Coogan has a shite film history with the exception of cock and bull story and his small part in Coffee and Cigarettes. I don't want the name of Alan tarnished. Do another christmas special or something. DON't RUB YOUR FANNY ON ME ... Read More
