The Persuaders Gets A Writer
David Dorfman's working on the script
Source: Variety

The Persuaders, the TV adventure series with the highest mismatched buddy concept of all (one’s a street smart Brooklyn chancer, the other’s an upright English lord!), is well on its way to the big screen, with a writer just hired to flesh out a script.

David Dorfman, who wrote Anger Management, will pen the screenplay based on the show that saw Tony Curtis and Roger Moore lovin’ the ladies, livin’ the high life and lockin’ up the criminals.

There’s no word on a director yet – or anyone being cast – but frankly we’re in no hurry. We’re still hoping this won’t be another Avengers debacle.

"do we really need persuading?"
Personally I think this has "Waste of everyones time" written all over it. Did anybody watch Starsky and Hutch? it was crap and clearly not good enough to require a sequel. Why even make it a comedy? that would ruin the concept, better to make it a thriller with a few lighter moments. That goes for the long mooted Six million Dollar man movie which I understand is going ahead with Jim carrey as Steve Austin. again its a bad move to make it a comedy since this concept was done fairly recently as... Read More
