Frost/Nixon Trailer Online

It was the interview to end all interviews; Chat show host David Frost interrogating the scandalised ex-president US Richard Nixon in front of a television audience of millions. One made his reputation and the other broke it… See if you can guess which one was which.

Frost/Nixon, the successful West End stage re-creation of this legendary meeting has been transferred to the big screen with Ron Howard at the helm and the international trailer is now live to give you a taste.

With the stage show’s stars reprising their roles (Michael Sheen as Frost and Frank Langella as Tricky Dick), along with the likes of Kevin Bacon, Sam Rockwell, Oliver Platt and Toby Jones fleshing out the cast, this is shaping up to be an intriguing flick.

Click here to watch the trailer.

Frost/Nixon is scheduled for a January 9, 2009.

Looks excellent. Perfectly captures the period and the feel of the great movies of the early '70s. Langella is surely the front contender for best actor. Possibly the best thing Ron Howard has done since Apollo 13. Can't wait to see it ... Read More

That looked very good - I've high hopes for this film. Hopefully Howard can pull it off and make a film that deserves to be nominated for awards (unlike A Beautiful Mind, ahem) ... Read More

RE: Frost/Nixon Trailer Online
Impressive trailer. Nothing like adding a great score (was that Clint Mansell?) to really up the dramactic ante. It's good to see Michael Sheen (no relation) holding his own, and then some, against the Hollywood heavyweights. Am hoping to see this at the London film festival in October. ... Read More

Blimey, this looks it really is just my cuppa - I just really hope Ron Howard will keep it edgy and won't coat things with a comforting historical layer. I have to say though that the major draw must be Frank Langella, who looks utterly astonishing in the trailer (though Michael Sheen, who doesn't look anything like his father and brothers, also appears to be spot on). Now the fight will be Frost/Nixon vs. W. And I know which trailer I liked better. ... Read More

The trailer is a bit long, but it does look really good and Langella really captures the ham-fisted arrogance of Nixon. Plus it really sent shivers reminding us of a president who thinks he's a king and believes he can commit crimes. ... Read More

I think that looked excellent! Tense, intriguing and funny as well. Minor quibble would be that it feels like I've seen most of the film now. Otherwise though it looks like my bum will be firmly planted in front of this when it’s released. ... Read More
