Two hapless slackers try to bury the body of their friend, who took a fatal overdose, at an abandoned drive-in. But complications arise when they stumble on a satanic cult in the midst of a ritual.
Canadian slackers royce (Bentley) and Dex (Speedman) are long-time addicts (‘drug pullers’ as opposed to pushers) in Weedsville, a dead-end town with a graffiti-altered sign.
One night they get into a runaround involving a possibly overdosed girlfriend (Taryn Manning), preppy Satanists with human sacrifice in mind, and a comatose millionaire new-age guru (Matt Frewer).
Missing-in-action director Allan Moyle (Pump Up The Volume) travels a quirky road too often trod by aspirant indie pics; Speedman and Bentley are spikier than, say, Harold and Kumar, but mostly they cope with baffled good humour at the many, many reversals of this bizarre and busy night.
