Original Title:

Vigilant Cop

When you take the plung and sit down in front of a film with a title like this, you are constitutionally entitled to a sleazy exploitation item with bad language, two steamy sex scenes, plentiful car crashes, dollops of ketchup and eight million discharges of the automatic weapon of your choice, but here you get ripped off with another bland TV movie, based inevitably on a true story, with more soap than sleaze. Cop Dale Midkiff is worried that his best buddy Alex McArthur is a psychopath, and, after laborious exposition, it turns out that he is.

Yawnsomely conventional.
