Think Like A Man Review

Usually when rom-coms adapt advice tomes, they take the title and general theme and spin something from that. But Think Like A Man, based on broadcaster/comedian-turned-advice guru Steve Harvey’s book, which advises women on how to handle their male partners’ dating games, serves more as an infomercial. Yes, there are various plots about the usual characters: playa, mama’s boy, commitment-phobe etc., but the text gets almost as many close-ups as the cast. Still, the actors are mostly solid, landing the jokes and making the mushy stuff work for an enjoyable if utterly predictable date-night choice.
