Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead Review

When the eponymous mom heads Down Under for two months' R&R and leaves her beloved brood in the care of one of those demon babysitters from hell, her five offspring are understandably a mite miffed. Yet when the loathsome lady takes a peak at heavy metal fan Kenny's debris-strewn bedroom and snuffs it with a coronary five minutes in, the kids celebrate but inadvertently dispose of their allocated food money along with the old bag, leaving the eldest, Sue Ellen (Christina Applegate), to fend for them. Faking her C.V., she takes a job with a fashion firm and rises swiftly through the ranks while, in a neat piece of role-reversal, Kenny assumes charge of the household, mutating from grunge rocker to suave house-husband. Amusing fluff.
