Original Title:

A Taste For Killing

Preppies Jason Bateman and Henry Thomas (a long way from E.T.) get summer jobs on an oil rig and fall in with good ole boy Michael Biehn, only to discover that their new-found best mate is a psycho-neurotic nutcase with a nasty tendency to brain workmates with a two-by-four and frame the boys for the murders.

Given the canny casting and mix of suspense and social strata, this should be a lot more interesting than it is, but it winds up with a highly predictable and unlikely battle on the rig.
