Table for Five Review

Parent battles against parent and parent against child when a biological father tries to show his children he loves them after they have gotten used to living with their stepfather.

He is Jon Voight, she is dead. This one is about fatherly love and plays for tears from the word go as remote dad inherits his estranged kids and has to fight the loving stepfather for their custody and love.

Voight's presence just about saves it from being totally nauseating, but it's more interesting now for an early peek at Kevin Costner.

Boring, weepy, cutesy, sickly and dull
