A shy woman (Madeley) arrives at a strawberry-picking farm in Kent, introducing herself as Tammy. She soon meets the sexy Kev (Elliott), who takes her under his wing. Tensions escalate, however, when Emily (Bottomly) arrives and ruins everything.
Juggling a shortage of backstory and a surfeit of plot, this references Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire in pitching Anna Madeley, Christine Bottomley and Emun Elliott into a self-conscious sibling saga of desire, envy and liberation in rural Kent.
Tennessee Williams might struggle with the idea of inspiring this project.
