Scar 3D Review

Sixteen years after surviving an ordeal at the hands of a psychopathic morgue attendant, Joan (Bettis) finds a copycat killer is draining the local teens. While she relives the trauma through flashbacks, paranoia sets in, the bodies pile up and cops start questioning her sanity.

The usual Torture Prawn with a generous dressing of Scream-style whodunnit, Scar is notable for being the first full-length live-action movie in digital 3-D. You expect knives jabbing from the screen, but if you feel blood on your lap, it’ll be the ketchup from your hotdog. The perspecto-effects are a real letdown, while the pacing and performances are as flat as roadkill.

Real shame — it should’ve been a giggle
