Jim Belushi could’ve been a contender. But instead he’s opted to become a straight-to-video

kind of guy in a succession of low budget duds. In this, he is a WWII tank commander who takes his crew, his beloved tank and a ragtag assortment of Brit officers, Aussies and Italian POWs across the titular desert. Beyond pedestrian, the film has a desperately old-fashioned B movie feel with some of the most inane dialogue in years.
