Original Title:

Rob Roy

The thinking person's Braveheart. Liam Neeson is the kilted 18th-century outlaw, Jessica Lange his loyal ginger missus, and Tim Roth the contemptible English bastard in a wig, in an outdoors tale of swordsmanship and nationalism. Completely overshadowed on its release by the B-film, but still worth a look.

Braveheart in a new kilt. Not exactly original, then, but worth a look.
