Relax… It’s Just Sex

Catering for a range of social, racial and sexual orientations, P.J. Castellaneta's comedy is overlong and decidedly messy in its La Ronde-like structure.

A jarring rape sequence that seems to belong in a different film apart, this is at least inoffensive, the genial proceedings presided over by Jennifer Tilly as the den mother of a crisis-ridden assembly of misfits and mavericks. It's the peripheral characters who prove to be more memorable.

Overly long, incoherant comedy saved by some excellent peripheral characters.
