Problem Child 3: Junior in Love Review

Michael Oliver has grown up and moved on. Chapter 3 of the Problem Child trilogy features pre-teened Junior in love with a classmate that won't even notice him, but does notice three other boys who are rivals to Junior.

Plotless, pointless and tasteless reworking of the Problem Child franchise with William Katt as the little devil giving the under-eights a bad name. This time, amid much over violent banality, he falls in love but has to see off the many rivals for the fair lady’s affection. Poo gags and people getting sprayed with muck are pretty much the crux of the action and, as you probably guessed, the comic timing is honed to the liking of the potential pre-teen audience. To think that there’s someone, somewhere, sat behind a desk, signing cheques, green-lighting this sort thing, makes you want to weep into your popcorn. Gratuitous nonsense.

Beyond awful.
