Original Title:

Pressure

There’s a tense, claustrophobic thriller to be made from the premise of four men trapped in a diving bell beneath the ocean, with time, oxygen and hopes of rescue running out — but it might  take a Mamet or a Pinter to do justice to it. (No pressure, then.)

A game cast and a promising director (Offender’s Scalpello) do their best with the material, but there is only so much any of them can achieve with a screenplay that, try as it might, fails to create interesting, distinctive or sympathetic characters, much less realise the potential of a potent premise.

Fails to realise the potential of a potent premise.
