Notorious Mr. Bout, The

The twisted morality of the arms trade comes under scrutiny in this compelling profile of Viktor Bout, the Russian who deemed weapons just another saleable commodity. Packed with jaw-dropping footage, this has to be seen to be disbelieved.

Just as brazen and just as aware of his own theatricality as Nicolas Cage in The Lord Of War (a character based on Bout himself), the arms dealer is one of the year's most strangely compelling antiheroes.
