We can only imagine the excitement that the first promotional still from** **A Young Doctor’s Notebook – featuring Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm sharing a bath – caused in some corners of the Internet. Now we get the full motion version featuring some hot loofah action. Check it out above.

But do calm down! Since Hamm and Radcliffe are playing the same character at different ages interacting through the narrative, this shouldn’t provide fodder for any overly creative slash fiction.

Set to debut on Sky Arts 1’s Play House Presents on December 6, A Young Doctor’s Notebook is based on the short stories of Mikhail Bulgakov - who also wrote The Master And Margarita, which we happen to know is (or was, a little while back) Daniel Radcliffe's favourite novel.

It finds a post-World War I doctor (Hamm) wracked with self-doubt. In his fevered imagination, he starts flashing back to and talking with himself at an earlier age (Radcliffe). It promises plenty of laughs as Hamm mocks his nervous earlier incarnation and we see the sort of antics Radcliffe gets up to. It’s also more evidence that the outrageously charming Hamm can break out a decent British accent when he needs to. IS THERE NO END TO HIS TALENTS?
