In talks for a European vacation

After reuniting with his frequent sidekick Owen Wilson for The Internship, it looks like Vince Vaughn will be flying solo again when he boards the plane for **The Business Trip. The jet-setting comedy is currently coming together at New Regency, with a screenplay by** The Pursuit Of Happyness**' Steve Conrad.

Staying with The Internship's hapless-businessman schtick for the time being, The Business Trip will see Vaughn shambling and fast-talking to Europe, where his character's immediate and future career prospects begin to unravel. It's International Vaughn's European Vacation, in other words, although the pitch New Regency shelled out for a year ago chose to reference Planes, Trains And Automobiles as its touchstone. Either way, someone will probably get hit in the groin. It's funny because it's true.

Vaughn is just "in talks" at this stage, so this isn't a done deal. Definitely attached, however, are producers Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black and Steve Tisch, all of whom were behind Happyness with Conrad, making this something of a reunion.

We'll see plenty of Vaughn later in the year, with Delivery Man out in October, and The Internship before that on July 4. If you haven't caught it yet, here's the trailer.
