Director Uwe Boll, better known as the man behind House Of The Dead, Alone In The Dark and the upcoming Dungeon Siege has found another video game to adapt.

He'll tackle Postal, a controversial game dating from 1997, which caused a storm of protest for putting the player in the role of a frustrated postal employee who decides that only way to deal with stress is to start shooting his co-workers.

Boll plans to maintain all the original characters from the game, but will be writing his own storyline.

There's no cast in place yet except for - you couldn't make this up - Gary Coleman, who plans to appear as himself.
