There’s every chance that I Am Bolt won’t be a hard-hitting, warts-and-all portrayal of the world’s fastest man. Judging by this new trailer, it’s much more likely to be an extended bathe in the mellow greatness of Usain Bolt. But, seriously, why not? Take a look below.

The handiwork of Class Of 92 and One Direction: This Is Us pair Gabe and Ben Turner, I Am Bolt benefits from incredible access to its subject, Jamaica’s greatest ever Olympian. He’s won more medals, struck more poses and been cooler than most other athletes since he really broke through at the Beijing Summer Olympics.

The film marries up footage from the Rio and London Olympics and the Beijing World Champions with archive clips from his younger days and interviews with those who know him best.

Says the man himself: “My aim with making this film is to show people how my life really is… What I’ve been through to get me where I am today, the ups and the downs, and an insight into what I am thinking and feeling. I know a lot of people around the world feel like they know me already but I’m excited for everyone to see the real me.”

I Am Bolt arrives in cinemas on 28 November.
