Though he announced the film back in 2010, Noah Baumbach’s reunion with his Greenburg star Ben Stiller had had to sit and wait while Frances Ha took all of the director’s attention. Now, though, after a brief festival run, the first trailer for While We’re Young has arrived.

The new comedy drama finds Stiller and Naomi Watts as Josh and Cornelia, a middle-aged couple who are beginning to wonder where their lives are headed. They’ve been flirting with the idea of having kids, but mostly because they can’t think what else to do.

But then they meet and starting hanging out with hipsters Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried), a twentysomething couple who help them recapture a little of the spirit of youth, even if their own friends and Josh’s dad Leslie (Charles Grodin) can’t quite see the appeal...

Looking like another quiet, thoughtful winner from Baumbach, the film also features Brady Corbet, Maria Dizzia, Adam Horovitz and James Saito. It’ll arrive in US cinemas on March 27 before heading over here on April 3.
