In the works since at least last April, indie romantic comedy Tumbledown is undergoing a lead change as it prepares to start shooting. What was to have been a match between Jason Sudeikis and Rose Byrne will now feature a potentially romantic union between Sudeikis and Iron Man 3’s Rebecca Hall.

According to Variety, Hall is now in place to play a widow who lives deep in the Maine woods. Unable to move on with her life after the death of her musician husband, she’s struggling to write his biography when she meets a brash New York writer (Sudeikis) in town to write a story on her hubby. The pair begin to collaborate and, given the plot’s rom-com nature, the sparks are soon flying.

Blythe Danner and Joe Manganiello are also part of the cast, though while Olivia Munn was mentioned in the original announcement, her name does not appear here. Sean Mewshaw is directing the film starting this March in Massachusetts, working from a script by Desi Van Til.

Hall, who was last seen in Closed Circuit, next has sci-fi drama Transcendence set for release. It’ll download into cinemas on April 24.
