Okay, okay, it’s a Disney movie about an American High School Prom and three couples (and a guy looking for love) going to it – so it’s not typical Empire fare.
Still, it’s cute, and it’s new, and we’ve got a trailer for you for it.
Nicholas Braun plays the dorky guy looking for a girl to take to Prom (you might recognise him from Sky High), Aimee Teegarden plays the girl organising events (yep, it’s her off Friday Night Lights), and you’ll be pleased to discover that Dean Norris (Hank from Breaking Bad) also appears.
Citizen Kane it is not, but it does look like a decent slice of incredibly sugary Disney teen-movie pie. You can tell because the prom looks like it was designed by a professional wedding planner, not just some girl with a few bits of cardboard and a broken yoghurt pot.
Check out the trailer below, and try to resist the temptation to promptly rewatch your favourite High School Musical numbers. Go on, we dare you.
