He's got a finger in virtually every blockbuster pie to come out of Hollywood at the moment and has the kind of bank balance that could happily purchase a number of small countries. He is, of course, uber-producer, Jerry Bruckheimer and, according to Entertainment Weekly's 2003 list, he's the most powerful man in Hollywood. Topping the 14th annual list ahead of 100 lesser mortals (and displacing last-year's leader, Denzel Washington), Bruckheimer's involvement with recent hits like Bad Boys 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean has secured his place as ?Tinseltown's top man. "Bruckheimer has become a brand," said the magazine. A spokesperson for the producer told the magazine that he was "flattered" by the honour but would rather be judged by the quality of his work. How very commendable
