“We’ve seen the billionaire. We’ve seen the god. We’ve seen the soldier. Now we get to see the kid.” That’s Tom Holland, aka Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, speaking in the shiny new issue of Empire magazine, which also brings us a shiny and exclusive new image. Take a look below, and click to embiggen.

Having made his scene-stealing (and shield-stealing) debut in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, Holland enjoys his first solo outing this summer with Spider-Man: Homecoming and clearly pays no heed to taking the normal entry-exit routes at his local high school.

And the first feature-length collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony (who own the cinematic rights to the character) hopes to start things afresh with Marvel’s most famous superhero. “We’re not making the sixth Spider-Man movie,” insists producer Eric Hauserman Carroll. “We’re making the first Peter Parker movie.”
