Paramount Enter The Butcherhouse

Prepping haunted house horror

ShockTillYouDrop has learned that Paramount and Platinum Dunes (the company, part owned by Michael Bay, that's been responsible for so many recent horror remakes) is prepping a new movie called The Butcherhouse Chronicles. And it's not a remake! Well, not really.

According to the site's synopsis, the film sees "four teenagers explore a supposedly haunted house and uncover their small town's horrible secret" and is based on a play by Michael Hidalgo, who is also writing the movie script.

Small but brilliant bit of useless info: The stageplay starred Anna Chlumsky, aka that kid from My Girl.
