We don't cover games news too often here on Empire, but the new trailer for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare features a fairly significant role for a digitised Kevin Spacey, voiced by the man himself. Spacey follows in the footsteps of the likes of Willem Dafoe and Sam Worthington in the franchise, but he's probably the biggest name to feature to date.

This instalment of the game series sees a near-future world torn apart by war, and the US itself a battleground. A private military corporation, led by Spacey's megalomaniac here, sets itself against the US government with exo-skeleton-wearing, helicopter-crashing consequences.

This is not, in other words, the action-oriented House Of Cards spin-off it might first appear (and which we might secretly wish for). Still, there's clearly plenty here for fans of Elysium's exo-suits or Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol's sticky climbing gloves.

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare hits shops on November 4.
