Now Meet Transformers 4's Hound

Michael Bay seems keen to keep his robots in disguise on view as he gets to work on** Transformers 4**. We’ve already been introduced to new vehicles in the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and Corvette Stingray, a re-designed Optimus Prime truck and Bumblebee’s new look, the retro Camaro. Now is the turn of a real newcomer to the film franchise, Hound. Take a look at his vehicle form in the gallery below.

Hound, who has cropped up in the video game and toy line already but is making his movie debut with the fourth film, is usually portrayed as a Jeep Wrangler. That, of course, isn’t muscular enough for Bay, who has instead decided to make him a Medium Tactical Vehicle designed and built by Oshkosh Defense.

He’s joining the rest of the Autobots alongside humans Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci and TJ Miller in a tale that sees humanity still recovering from the horrendous Battle Of Chicago but facing new threats from within and without. {Transformers 4 New Autobot Cars}

Bay is shooting in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Utah and China, with Transformers 4 set to arrive on June 27 next year.
