The casting for the new** Jurassic Park** outing, Jurassic World, is really ramping up as the film prepares to get back into production following a hiatus while the producers sorted out the script. Yesterday brought word that Iron Man 3**'s Ty Simpkins is headed into terrible lizard territory, and now The Kings Of Summer**’s Nick Robinson may well be joining him.

Robinson, who will likely be putting the survival skills that the indie movie taught him to good use, has an offer to play Simpkins’ older brother in the film.

With Steven Spielberg acting as producer, the new Jurassic film has Safety Not Guaranteed’s Colin Trevorrow calling the shots, working from a script he and regular partner Derek Connolly wrote based off of Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa’s drafts.

Plot details for the new film are still being kept a closely guarded secret, but Bryce Dallas Howard is also in negotiations to sign on, so at least we know what some of the cast will look like, even if we can’t yet figure out what toothy terrors they’ll face. Robinson doesn’t have any other film projects listed yet, but he’s got a regular TV gig acting on comedy series Melissa & Joey.
