New Trailer For Scorsese's Hugo

It's a Martin Scorsese 3D family film! Sure, that might seem like one of the less likely sentences ever written, but that was before Hugo, which sees the cinephile director adapt Brian Selznick's delightful (and cinema-loving) children's book The Invention Of Hugo Cabret for the big screen. And here's the new international trailer.

We've already had one trailer, of course, but this new one offers a few new tidbits from the film, and the sight of Scorsese himself discussing his plans. From what we can see here, we feel confident in saying that it's going to look breathtaking and that Sacha Baron Cohen is going to have a close encounter with a cake. It's not a great trailer, sure, and minus marks for using the same tune as Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls Of Ga'hoole, but we're still expecting the film to be rather special.

brightcove.createExperiences();The film stars Chloe Moretz, Asa Butterfield, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Jude Law, Michael Pitt, Emily Mortimer, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Ray Winstone, Richard Griffiths, Michael Stuhlbarg and Frances de la Tour. It hits cinemas here in the UK on December 2.
