On July 19, 2011, the internet came into possession of a Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy poster that showed Gary Oldman's George Smiley transformed into numbers. It was universally acclaimed as "bloody good".

So it should come as no surprise that those clever folks behind the John Le Carre adapation at Working Title have released several other very similar characters posters, depicting Colin Firth's Bill Haydon, Tom Hardy's Ricki Tarr, Mark Strong's Jim Prideaux and Benedict Cumberbatch's Peter Guillam as lines of code too.We reckon they also deserve to be filed in the "bloody good" section of your spymaster filofax, no? In fact, they're so good, they makes us want to watch the trailer again, so we're off to do that now.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy will be being all moody and thrilling on your local cinema screens come September 16.
