French site Buzz et Cie has landed their mitts on some new pictures from Disney-Pixar's Up, which give you a little more impression of the film.

The pictures include a couple of shots from the film's opening section, chronicling Carl Fredricksen's (Jeremy Leary as a child, then Edward Asner) 70-year relationship with his wife Ellie (Elie Docter). They're the couple you see in the top picture (with the glasses and flying cap) and in the fourth over the mailbox.

You can also see Fredricksen with his stowaway Russell (Jordan Nagai) in the second picture, and the third shows Pixar stalwart John Ratzenberger's character, a building foreman called Tom. The fifth shows scary super-dog Alpha (Bob Peterson), followed by an aerial shot of the South American plateau where most of the adventure takes place and a shot of Fredricksen matching up location and destination as he and his floating house land in the jungle.

The (almost unspeakably ace) Up is out on October 16 here in the UK, so it might be worth flying to the US, where it's out tomorrow.
