There’s one big question that puzzles us about the new poster for Disney’s latest animation, Frozen. That question is: even in very chilly water, how does a snowman go swimming without melting? And why does he need sunglasses? We doubt those queries will be answered by the film itself, but you can take a look at the poster above.
Frozen sees fearless optimist Anna (Kristen Bell) set off on an epic journey – teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven – to find her sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a snowman named Olaf (Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
So far, aside from some character images, the promotional campaign for this one has focuses on sidekicks such as Olaf and Sven. Conspicuously absent are Anna, Elsa and the rest, though we suspect they will come into play more as we creep towards the movie’s release. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Frozen will be out here on December 6.
